This is a verse by verse audio teaching of 1 Thessalonians 4:9-18. Paul continues here with a dominant theme of this book - living in the agape love of God. How this truth will be needed in these last days of wickedness and violence. Even though the Thessalonians believers were loving all the brother in all of Macedonia, Paul urged them to increase and abound in love more and more. Part of loving others is to lead a quiet life, mind your own business and work with your own hands so that you will not need the support of others. This is truly bearing your own burdens. This is followed by the 2nd Coming of Jesus and the rapture of the dead in Christ and the living Christians. When Jesus comes, the church goes. When Jesus returns in glory and power, it must always include the final resurrection of all believers - dead and alive - to get their new glorified bodies.
